Micro Soccer is for players from 3 years old through 2nd grade. (2015-2021)
Micro Academy Tiny Tots: 3U through 4U (2020-2021) registration is $60
Micro Academy: 5U through 9U (2015-2019) registration is $70.
This program is designed to be a low pressure, enjoyable event on Saturday mornings.
Practice consists of fun activities and drills that help teach basic soccer skills, followed by a game.
A love for soccer is our main goal so we do NOT keep score at this age level. All coaches are parent or high school volunteers.

Each Saturday morning, players will wear their Micro Soccer shirt for the practice and game. Parents will check in each week and be directed to their child's assigned field for the day. These assignments are based on age and skill level and are balanced to keep groups evenly distributed. Please do not attend another field's session as this will make the numbers uneven and result in unequal play time.
We will have one trainer per field to help with the technical skills for that group of players. For the youngest age group, we will limit training and game time to a total of 45 minutes. The older ages will participate in 30 minutes of drills followed by a 30 minute game.
For the game, the trainers will disperse players on the field into even teams. Half the players on the field will be given "pinnies" to put over their shirt and the other half will be wearing their shirt.
Research has shown the Academy style of training and play to be one of most successful approaches as it emphasizes individual technique, maximizes touches, and fosters skill development through small sided games. A love for soccer is our main goal so we do NOT keep score at this age level.
Playing Times: Micro Academy Tiny Tots Birth Year 2020 and 2021 4U will meet on Saturdays beginning September 9- October 14 4U Academy (4 and under): Academy begins at 9am through 9:45am Micro Academy and Micro Academy Teams Birth Year: 2018 and 2019 6U Academy (6 and under): Academy begins at 9:00 -10:00 a.m. Saturdays September 9- October 14 Birth Year: 2015-2017 9U Academy(9 and under): Academy begins at 10:15 - 11:15 a.m. Saturdays September 9- October 28
We are located behind Munro Shoe Factory at 3770 Malvern Rd, Hot Springs, AR 71901.
You cannot see the fields from the highway, but there is a parking lot to the left of the building (follow the other eager players). There are steps from the parking lot leading down to the playing area.
We now have an ADA access ramp.
SIGMA SUPPLY does not allow cars near the playing area so you or your guest will need to be dropped off at the fields, and then the car will need to be returned to the parking lot.
We are sorry for any inconvenience this may cause but we must abide by our field sponsor’s guidelines.
Your player will need shin guards, a size 3 soccer ball, and water bottle. Cleats are not required at this age, but if you like 'em, wear 'em. Some type of athletic shoe is required, no sandals will be allowed. We suggest you write your player’s name on their ball. Trust us, it's going to get lost at some point.
Parents need chairs as there is limited seating. We recommend sun block.
Please do not customize your uniforms. If you would like to customize other items, feel free. Uniforms need to be kept the way you receive them.
Bring a water bottle for your player, even if it's cold outside. We will have limited concessions available.

*Refund requests must be received in writing and will be subject to a 10% fee if received prior to the close of registration on August 20. Any requests made after the close of registration but prior to September 1 may be eligible for a 50% refund of fees. No refunds will be given after September 1.
