Spa City FC U19 Boys
Coach Hans Pullen brings more than 25 years of coaching experience, service, and dedication to the Hot Springs Soccer Association (HSSA).
This upcoming season, he will lead the 19U Boys team while also coaching the 14U Recreational Girls team—demonstrating his commitment to player development across competitive and recreational levels.
Beyond his work on the field, Coach Hans serves on the HSSA Board as the Director of Coaching and Recreational Commissioner. In these roles, he helps guide coaching standards, player development pathways, and the overall structure of the recreational program—ensuring a positive and growth-focused experience for every player in the club.
Coach Hans holds a U.S. Soccer D License through the United States Soccer Federation (USSF), underscoring his commitment to providing high-quality coaching rooted in national standards and best practices.
A longtime resident of Hot Springs, Coach Hans is also a practicing attorney. His leadership, thoughtful communication, and ability to mentor young players have made him a cornerstone of our club’s success over the years. Whether guiding elite high school athletes or first-time recreational players, Coach Hans brings patience, insight, and passion to every training session.
We are proud to have Coach Hans leading with integrity, experience, and a deep love for the game—and we’re excited for the impact he will continue to make this season and beyond.
Spa City FC U17 Boys
Coach Brandon Hernandez is a proud product of Spa City FC and a passionate leader stepping into his first season as head coach of the 17U Boys team. A recent graduate of Centerpoint High School, Coach Brandon played for Spa City FC from 2020 to 2024, developing his game through years of dedication, hard work, and a deep love for soccer.
Now, he's giving back to the sport that shaped him by helping guide the next generation of players—many of whom he has actively recruited from his hometown of Glenwood. His efforts to connect and grow the game in surrounding communities speak volumes about his leadership and commitment to building something bigger than himself.
Coach Brandon brings energy, relatability, and firsthand experience to his coaching role. His players benefit not only from his technical understanding of the game but also from the pride he takes in representing the club that helped him grow as a player and person.
We’re excited to have Coach Brandon on staff this season as he brings fresh perspective, hometown pride, and a heart for player development to the 17U Boys team and the Spa City FC family.
Spa City FC U15 Boys
Coach Kevin Brasfield joins the Spa City FC coaching staff with a heart for service, mentorship, and player development. This season, he brings his experience and leadership to support our teams and continue making a positive impact in the lives of young athletes.
Coach Kevin has spent recent seasons volunteering as a coach with Lake Hamilton Junior High, where he’s helped mentor players through foundational stages of their development. His calm presence, focus on fundamentals, and ability to connect with players have made him a valuable figure in the local soccer community.
Off the field, Coach Kevin works in the medical field, bringing with him a mindset of care, professionalism, and attention to detail that translates directly into his coaching. His commitment to helping others—both in his career and through soccer—makes him a role model for the players he leads.
We’re proud to have Coach Kevin Brasfield on board this season as he continues to give back to the game and help shape the future of our club.
Spa City FC U13 Boys. Spa
Coach Ed Argueta brings a wealth of experience, passion, and leadership to HSSA.
This upcoming season, he will serve as the head coach of the 13U Boys team. His deep commitment to the development of players across age groups is a testament to his tireless dedication to the sport and the growth of our club.
In addition to his coaching responsibilities, Coach Ed also serves as the President of Hot Springs Soccer Association (HSSA), where he helps guide the strategic vision of the organization, oversees player and coach development initiatives, and advocates for the advancement of soccer opportunities in our community.
Coach Ed’s connection to the game runs deep—he played for Lakeside High School from 2005 to 2007 and competed through Hot Springs Soccer from the fall of 2004 through 2006. His journey from local player to club leader gives him a unique perspective on the value of investing in youth development and community-based soccer.
From 2022 to 2024, he coached both the boys and girls teams at Lakeside Junior High School, where he played a vital role in mentoring young athletes and helping build successful programs during critical stages of their development.
Before his coaching career, Coach Ed served a tour in Iraq as a member of the United States Marine Corps. His military background has instilled in him a strong sense of discipline, resilience, and leadership—qualities that he brings into every aspect of his work with HSSA.
He currently holds a U.S. Soccer C License through the United States Soccer Federation (USSF), a nationally recognized credential that underscores his commitment to providing the highest level of coaching excellence.
Known for his leadership, mentorship, and passion for the game, Coach Ed is a driving force behind HSSA’s mission to empower players both on and off the field.

Spa City FC U11 Boys
Coach Chris Cannon brings energy, commitment, and a team-first mentality to the Spa City FC coaching staff. This season marks his first year coaching in the Classic program, and he’s already making a strong impression with his focus on development, discipline, and building a positive team culture.
Coach Chris emphasizes technical growth, confidence, and teamwork—creating an environment where players are encouraged to challenge themselves and support one another both on and off the field.
He holds a U.S. Soccer D License through the United States Soccer Federation (USSF), reinforcing his dedication to continued learning and providing a quality experience for his players. His passion for the game and his desire to serve young athletes in our community make him a valuable asset to the club.
We’re excited to have Coach Chris Cannon as part of the Spa City FC family and look forward to the impact he’ll make as he helps guide our players through the next stage of their soccer journey.
